    Water Leak!! Help!

I have a water leak on the passenger side floor, It was really rainy today and when I went to get in my e30 I saw almost an inch of water sitting on the floor! Anyone got any ideas of what might be causing it? I did notice that when I wash my car sometimes there is a little bit too.

Have you checked the elephant trunk drain in the engine bay at the fire wall?

The vent under the windshield wipers? I think that might be where it is coming in. Is there a fix?

Its on the firewall by the valve cover and looks like a flat elephant trunk. Sometimes dirt and crap get plugged up in it. Take it off and see if there is any blockage. Kind of a pita to put back on. Also see if your sun roof drains aren't plugged. I used the air nozzle on the air compressure to blow mine out.

Bushings compress in the firewall with time, sunroof drains can become clogged, and also the taillight lense gaskets will fail over time allowing water in. When the taillight gaskets fail there is a lot of water that flows over the trunk area when raining and goes right onto the lense. Check your trunk for water-the water can enter through the lense and flow into the passenger compartment.

New gaskets for the rear lenses, run some weed-whacker string gently down the sunroof drain tubes, and I've heard some people using that canned insulation foam on the firewall although I haven't tried that one yet.

Can anyone help? Would this hose be hidden or placed somewhere else in an s50 swap?
