    sunroof headliner ripped

So I go and open my sunroof today. Then I go to close it and the headliner on the right side snags up and tears a bit.:( Can it be fixed without taking out the whole headliner??

The liner on the sunroof only, or the actual headliner? The piece on the sunroof snaps out, and i have a biege piece I can sell you if you need it.

It was the liner on the sunroof. Can I get it out without removing the complete headliner?

Yeah, put it in the vent position, and pull down on the back edge sharply. Juat a few integrated clips hold it in on the front edge and the back edge.

Have to give it a try. And how does it go into the sides of the sunroof panel?

Part # 8 is the clips I am referring to.

I'm leaving out a few nice details. See here: http://e30.bmwdiy.info/sunroof-adjust/index.html

Oddly enough, I don't think removing the headliner would even help get the sunroof panel out!
