    New Seats

I've been looking into new seats since my freind broke mine... long story...

I've been looking into Recaro, Sparco, Bride... etc. I really want one that can support while auto crossing but also be comfortable for everyday driving.

Ive herd stories about vaders with back pain and ive rode in my freinds when we were going to go pick up his new car from St. Louis to Dallas and back and i had no problems.

The only problem is that i cant find them that well i also dont know how well they will hold me in place hence we were driving pretty straight on the highway...

any input would help since im needing a new set.

You want to get a reclining seat then like the Recaro Speed or Sparco Torino, milano etc

I have a set of SRD (Speed is the new replacement). Very supportive on the track and yet still comfortable for driving around.

Speedware Motorsports equips the auto racing industry with Arai Helmets, Bell, Hans, Sparco, Alpinestars auto race gear and equipment.

Have you riden in a fixed back seat for any amount of time? Not very comfortable after a while. Great for the track but not the street ;)

Also it makes the rear seats very difficult to get in an out of since you can only slide the seat forward to access the back in a 2 door car.

Ill echo what cramer said, fixed back seats do get old really quick, its nice on long trips to be able to lean back a bit. Ive got the Recaro Speed's they are very nice, but my driver side bolster foam is getting smashed because how i get out of the car. Be wary of highly bolstered seats.

I really like those, and are considerably cheaper then any of the others. By smashed up foam, it's not ripping is it?

Yeah, mine are like cramers, Black with red RECARO and red stitching down the sides. I got mine for 1200 and some change from The Seat Source with sliders..About the foam, its not ripping its just a little mis-shapen from my leg smashing it when i get out my car, i have to make an effort to not do it.

I bought my SRD LE's from speedware (good people to deal with and local)

You can also find a good price at http://on-trackperformance.com/ - heard good things about them from friends.

my SRD LE's were only available in black LE fabric with the red stitch.

Sports come in alot more colors and choices :)
