    VDO Cluster Help

    Hello R3V,

I was given this cluster from the previous owner when I purchased my 318i about a month ago. I have been trying to figure out what model it came from, and I think I have an idea, but I was hoping someone here would be able to confirm what I think.

I searched the part number on the coding plug and came up with either a 325i/ix. There is a white sticker with a 4/88 printed on it. Do those numbers correlate with a production date?

Right now, with what little I have found, I believe this car is from an 88 325i.

If someone could point me in the right direction to find some more information I would really appreciate it.

Here are a couple of photos, albeit of low quality, but maybe they could help nonetheless. Thanks

    -Kyle

Yes it looks like a standard "I" cluster. It has the 6cyclinder coding plug. What are you trying to do with it?

I was planning on selling it, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to advertise it wrong or anything like that. Thanks
