Keep my Recaro's or use stock sport seats?

I got these mint Recaro C Classic for my new E30, but I can't decide if I want to use them, or if they are to big and bulky.
I also have a E30 M3 interior, but the front seats needs reupholstering as they are quite worn.

In addition, the M3 fabric is gray, Recaros are blue, and my parcel shelf is green. And I have no carpet, so the floor is red.

Those recaros are too bulky and ugly in an e30. I say reupholster the m3 seats or sell/trade them for nice stock sport seats.

Those are some serious Recaro's in the day. The bad is I don't think they will fetch all that much on ebay these days. 800 euros maybe depending on if everything works.

I like the seats, My thought is keep them and redo the back seat as houndstooth is common. This would give the car a unique look.

Yeah, I love the seats. Got them for $870, and they have only been used as back seats in a Nissan SUV from '84-'88, and then kept inside a garage until I got them. Everything works, except one button, which only makes a grinding noise.
I don't like the color, and if I'm going to keep them, I want to redo them and the back seat to something that matches.
I don't want blue interior in a red car, and these seats are awesome. I'm hoping they would look more neuteral if I redo them in something a little more subtle.

OP the bad about these seats is Recaro hasn't sold fabric for them in years. You might find someone wanting to swap a set maybe for some Nardi styled aka Black and White pattern. Or maybe be able to Dye them Black but not sure if or how well that would turn out without destroying them.

I would hate to kill a great set that I payed real money for now the one I got for 10 bucks out of the junkyard was dye and dye it hard.

damn, z31 was was about to get a PM about standard rear houndstooths for sale. OP awesome fronts, I would try to get some mtech color edition blue to finish it up. They should be somewhat available where you are if not Kevin from creative options may be able to help.

I have a pair of stock M3 seats already. Using them as dining chairs actually. One seat on two E34 M5 wheels (Throwing stars) makes a great chair. ;)

I still can't decide. We'll see when I get a carpet.
I might sell, but they wont be cheap, and they are in Norway, so the shipping would be a bitch.
