    How to get to cigarette lighter harness?????

    I'm putting in an illuminated ///M knob, and I have a 3-way wire which one end goes to the knob, another replaces the ashtray bulb holder, and the third goes to the cigarette lighter harness. How do I get to the harness? How much dash am I going to have to remove?

      there are two screws at the top of the ashtray holder. remove them and you shall find what you seek.

          Already done. I think I'm looking for the other end of the wire? It is a male plug that I have to plug in.
