    Seat Gurus: Need your help

So, I did some searching without any promising results, and I was wondering if it would be safe to switch the driver and passenger side sport seats. Not replace, but put the passenger side on the driver side, and vise versa... I don't need to ask if it CAN be done, since I just did it, but do you guys think it's safe? It was a big pain in the ass bolting up the passenger side so I got to wondering if the rails were different, or side specific, etc.... If anyone knows, please lemme know. The car is back together, and feels safe, but I don't wanna find out the hardway if I get into an accident.

It's fine swap the seat belt clips to the other side and go from there.

BUT you don't get the slide feature or adjustment when doing this.

Yeah I already swapped all the seat belt provisions and I pre-adjusted the driver side before putting it in, I only second guessed my actions then I had a hard time bolting the passenger side rear down.... Holy hell it gave me trouble.

The swap was insanely easy when it came to the seat belt stuff. Just made sure I cranked everything down super tight so I don't die. I cleaned the interior, and I'm letting the leather conditioner dry / sink in. I'll take the car for a spin in like an hour and see how it feels.

Lol, there's no safety issue with switching the seats.

The only difference you'll find is a minor inconvenience when trying to adjust the tilt and height of the seat, because you'll have to squeeze your hand between the center console.
