    Dude those things are not ideal. I had a corolla with those exact cupholders, and I actually had cups fall out the bottom...

        They must have been some pretty small cups. I have one in my prizm (corolla) and I've never had a problem.

          If E30s were meant to have cupholders, they would have come with them.

          I've never understood cupholders. I just don't take drinks in my car that don't have a closeable lid that I can just put on or behind the seat. You're just asking for the eventual (and it will happen) disaster.

            I have the sin of having one of gadgetguy's cupholders in my car, oh well though I do love them.
