I've see vaders in an e30 before... anyone have any pics of the e36 sport seats in an e30? Dont want to steal the thread or anything... i would just like to see what they look like for myself. Thanks.
Actually, they were also the later non-sport seats... i had the exact same ones except in tan leather in my '99 328is. The sport seats have that extension in the front.. aka "the dick holder," and are more curvy. Like these...
i dont get what that writeup tells us...translation?
It tells you the distance between the center of the holes in the pieces of flat-bar that you'll need to drill to 'adapt' the e30 mountings to e36 ones.
From my experience the inside rear one needed to be much longer than the picture.

FRONT VALENCE IS ZENDER!!! STOP FILLING MY PM BOX PPL!!!
All of the other three were correct lengths. On the inside rear one, I drilled one hole in a bar, mounted it, then lined it up with the hole in the seat rail and marked through the hole with a sharpie (and obviously proceeded to drill a hole on the dot). You'll probably need a drill press. I used 1.5" x 1/4" flatbar from Home Depot - thick shit... but then again, I'm mounting seats and I dont want them moving around.
