Help me decide what to do with my seats

Just picked up a set of black sport seats. they are in ok condition. no missing chunks of cushion but definitely need to do something about the appearance. I also got the rear seats as well.

I did some searching and I found that some people went with the duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray so I'm wondering if I should do that...

Id rewrap them with new material. Its the best time for a color change...unless your goin with color match.

well i just picked up the black sport seats with good cushion, no chunks missing. but you can tell that the seats are 20yrs old. so i just want to restore the black color which is why i was thinking of the paint. re upholstering would cost a ton and in the future i plan on getting racing bucket seats so I dont want to invest a ton of money on something i won't be keeping for a long time know what i mean?

A friend had them in his car. For the $, they're great. They fit like a glove and are nice quality.

Are your seats vinyl or leather?

                Post up some pics.

ill take a couple pics this weekend. i initially thought they were vinyl so I had planned on spraying them with the duplicolor vinyl spray. However they are leather so I took them to a place in socal and got them reupholstered in vinyl for under $300. They look pretty good but it seems like they aren't "tight" as the original seats before being reupholstered. Not sure why that is...fabric, quality of work, cushion, etc..
