No power to windows

My car is 1986 325e. My windows quit working after I got my car back from a valve job. Finally got to looking at it today and there is no power to either window switches. The switches do not lite up. I did the e36 window switch swap awhile ago and they worked great until now. Checked fuse 17 and all is good(sunroof still works as well so it can't be the fuse). Starting to get nice here and I cant open my windows to enjoy it.
Any ideas?

Check the circuit breaker.

that fixed my drivers side window but my passenger window will only roll down not up. window motor or regulator?

I got the window up okay. I just used the hex key in the side of the door. I'll look for a new regulator. Thanks for the help.

That is exactly why I will be swapping my doors over to late model before it gets painted.

Early regulators suck.

My father had that problem in his 86 325e and all we did was hit my the bottom door panel like where the door pocket thing is and it worked did that on other vehicles(non bmw) and it still worked. I would also recommend switching regulator just to be sure last thing you want is to have the windows down and it start raining and you cant get them up
