Sunroof Crank Mechanism/transmission removal

Anybody know how to remove the entire sunroof crank assembly? I cant seem to get it out. It's missing the rotating shaft and gears so I am trying to replace with a complete one.

Any ideas, pictures or links would be appreciated. I can't seem to find any clues on any of the forums..

little flat head screw in the middle, looks kinda like an adjuster of some kind

edit: and the two screws next to the handle that are removed in that pictures i believe must come out too
