    E30 Front Vert Seat Question

I've done some searching and from what I've found in other posts.... E30 front vert seats should fit e30 coupes no problem. A local guy on craigslist has a pair of black leather heated sport seats from an 88 325ic. I really want heated seats in my 318is.

    My questions...

Just to confirm... Will vert front sport seats from an 88 325ic fit in my 91 318is?

How much work would it be to wire up the heated seats? I don't know what wiring etc is present in a newer coupe that I could use. I'm assuming I'll have to run new power / ground for them. (I thought it might be cool to put the two switches up above the radio next to the rear defroster / hazard switches)

How much should I offer to pay for these seats assuming good mechanicals and bad leather?

I haven't seen the seats yet (or even a picture) It seemed like the guy said the leather wasn't in too good of shape... My plan would be to disassemble / rebuild the seats, and while having the leather off, get some new leather cut / sewn and then hog ring it in myself.

    Thanks!

(I thought it might be cool to put the two switches up above the radio next to the rear defroster / hazard switches) ALL YOU NEED IS THE PLUG THAT GOES INTO THE FUSE BLOCK, from the under side of the dash and run it to the plugs on the seats and put in a fuse in the fuse box, check Bentley for which fuse and the location, all the into is there.

How much should I offer to pay for these seats assuming good mechanicals and bad leather? If the leather is in tack and no foam is showing or at least no foam is "missing" then 150 to 200 I would say would be a fair price.

Good mechanically/bad leather/heated? I'd give $100 for the pair. Try to get the rear console, switches, and wiring harness. It is no problem to connect in your car.
