    Not Armor-All, but.....what is it?

I've done a few basic searches and browsed the "interior" section but cannot come upon it...

Armor-All dries out a car's interior over time, at least that was the consensus on this forum if I remember correctly.

What's the stuff that you should use instead of Armor-All? I just can't remember what it is/what it is called. Or is Armor-All legitimate to use?

Thanks all, please help, much thanks

yes the 303 product is probably the best product for many things. I use the protectant that has SPF 40 in it. Thier upholstery cleaner is really good too. But 303 product are a bit more expensive than most.

There are lots of places to buy this online, but I have ordered from this guy before and am always satisfied.

You can find this in Canada, no problem. Marine stores often have it. Also recommended for uv protection on inflatable boats and canvas/sunbrella i.e. convertible tops. Also ahs some water proofing characteristics.

Thanks, I'll check out Griot's Vinyl & Rubber Dressing and the Aerospace 303 Protectant.

It is true that Armor-All dries shit out, right? I guess I've only ever heard that it does.

Armor-all just looks like salad dressing smeared on there, it evaporates and leaves grease on the windshield, plus it is a dust magnet. 303 lasts a long time.

armor has worked OK for me, just make sure you wipe most of it off to leave a thin coating, otherwise it looks wet/overdone. it hasn't caused dryness/cracking and its been used on my dashboard many times. (non-cracked dash still)
