E24 Recaros in an E30?

So I was at the junkyard yesterday and low and behold I find a shark! Not really but an e24, a 635csi. It looks to be an early 80's grey market car. It has the euro bumpers with the ugly DOT side markers above them and what appears to be an early m30 motor.

Anyway it has tan recaros which are a little beat but definitely salvageable. I'm trying to find out if this is a direct bolt on or if I need to make brackets. PS anybody need E24 parts? This thing was pretty complete.

you should grab the bumper parts if they are unmolested. e24 guys would love those. i dont know about the seats though...

yeah they're in good shape too, but I didn't have the tools on me at the time.

E24s used a different leg spacing. I think you'd need to fab up some of your own brackets to get them to fit. I'm using my single e24 recaro as a reading chair right now haha

What about the rear seats? as a kid I used to sit in the rear seats in my dads 85 and I fell in love with them.

Any chance they could fit in an e30?

It's got an M90? Check if it's got a dogleg gearbox.
