So - who was all bothered by the window....

I'm not sure if this had been posted or not yet, but when I switched the newer window X-Style regulators in place of my older style regulators in my car, I noticed the window didn't complete go down all the way.

I spent a little while looking at it, to see what was stopping it. From there, I found a way to remedy the issue, and get the window all the way down.

Turns out there's a little bracket right to the side and up a bit from the motor that can be unscrewed.

If you remove one of the white plastic pieces (the one on the side which faces outside), the window will go down all the way - perfectly level with the gasket.

I can't post pictures just yet, but I'll get them up soon if anyone wants to know how to do it, since I can bet the above explanation was pretty hard to understand. ;)

So, if you want pics, let me know!

Hmm, I have the older style regulators and they don't go all the way down either. Did you notice if there was an adjustment on the S-type regulator?

On those, I don't think there is.

The later style uses the X design, so they have to be actually stopped by something.

I personally hated the design of the older style, too many moving parts. I didn't see anything. But, I cna take a look once more to make sure.
