Anyone else still on an OE dash? Our sunlight isn't as harsh, but still.

          Yeah, probably about time. :D

But by that estimate, yours should be a bare frame by now!

My last E30's dash never had a blemish either. It's just at my job, my car sits parked in an open lot all day, with the sun beating down on it. I just need to put my sunvisor in, that's all.

I'm still on my OE dash. Sunshades do wonders for keep the interior from fading. Tint helps too. I really don't understand why more people don't use sunshades.

                  Sigh... I know.

I have one, but I forgot that I had it, it's in the trunk of my wife's E30.

I will use it from now on, I just kind of forgot about it.

I keep mine wedged between the passenger seat and the door, so I see it as I leave the car so as not to forget it.
Also it helps itget one that is easy to fold/put up/take down. Otherwise it will just become to obnoxious to deal with.

Yeah, it's an accordian-fold one, that just sits up there and is held in place by the stock visors. It's reflective and really nice.

Yeah. My 21 year old dash had two 1" cracks in it for about two years, so I replaced it with mint uncracked dash last fall.

It cracked overnight a few weeks ago, a nice big one over the gauge cluster.

I'll do what I can to keep it nice, that's all I can do. :D

Like I said, the one in my last E30 never had an issue. I think that the depression that the crack is running through in the pic may have had something to do with it. It looks as though something either hit it really hard, or something was pushed against it really hard for a long time.

                              All E30?
Not everybody lives in hot climates

A dash would never crack where I live and i have only seen one cracked dash in this country
