I did a search and I see that the e28 sport seat bolsters are direct replacements for the e30 sport seats. My question is-is the entire e28 sport seat leather the same size as the e30 sport seats? I have two power e28 sport seats with very good black leather and I would like to swap the leather and foam from them over to my e30 sport seat frames. Just wondering if anyone has ever done this before-I want to make sure that they are the same leather covers for both seats.

Just looked up the leather sport seat cover part numbers on realoem.com for the E30 and did a cross reference-yep they are the same covers used on the E23 and the E28. Shoulda thought about doing that before posting, but if someone else has this same question maybe it will help them.Eric Giles

Luckily I don't have much money at all in them (friend found them at a junkyard) and I do kinda hate to disassemble them, but my drivers seat needs new leather and foam badly-and this will by my cheapest way to fix my seat.
Just wondering-what does a set of black power e28 sport seats go for? The drivers seat has some wear but I would say its a solid 8 out of 10, and the passenger is a 9.9/10.Eric Giles
