    Heated seat retrofit?

So while removing my driver side seat to make it easier to work on the pedals for my 5 speed swap, i noticed i have a set of wires coming from the floor board, that plug into wires on the bottom of my seat. I'm assuming this is for heated seats (if not, what then?). However i don't have any switches of the sort in my car. Is there a way to retrofit it?

I thought it was the seat belt light thingy, probably wrong.

if you follow the wires some go to the seatbelt, sounds the gong when undone i believe.
i guess some might be for some kind of airbag sensor, dont know why itd be in the seat though.

As did I. I have it in my 84 (read: no airbag).

Word. Dunno what i was thinking, pretty dumb to assume its for heated seats when only one side had it, and the console had no cutouts for the switches.

Retro is a carpet up job, and alot of work on the seats.

Here is a pic of the loom that goes inside the seat.

                          they are £50 each.

but i swaped a M3 leather interior for a set of leathers with these ellements in them.

                          So it cost me nothing.
