It it easy? hard? It looks like mainly two bolts/nuts that hold it on, in a hard to reach place. Anyone ever take the whole thing out?

yeah, take your dash out, it'll make it infinitely easier. It's really not very difficult to remove a dash and can be done in an hour with two fairly inexperienced e30ers. The second person will help a lot.
You've got to replace the two bolts with some type of hex head or something to make installation easier, otherwise it's very simple to drop the column, just make sure it's not so low that it binds at the joint w/ the rack!

Thanks. I wish it was easier to removing this FUCKING PEDAL BOX. I swear, the airbag pedal box is so fucking retardedly jimmied up in there it's beyond words. I'm to the point where i want to just saw the whole fucking top part off.Comment
