Are these seats fixable?

They're from a VW, guy only wants $250 for the fronts, rears and door cards. Might be able to sell the rest of the stuff or talk him down for just the fronts. Either way, how would this be fixed? I love the seats and they're almost worth the price the way they are now. Anybody had this done or know anything about it?
