Dupli-color vinyl/fabric coating for interior - flat or gloss black?

Planning to spruce up the oem black door cards and rear panels ('91 325ic mtech), and may also dye the anthracit carpet to a real black. Dupli-color offers two choices for black - flat and gloss.

Which should I get for the door cards and panels? And which for the carpet?

Go with the gloss on the panels and carpet. The flat is very flat. Be sure to clean the panels to completely remove any dirt or foreign matter. I use Awesome from Dollar General Store.
$1.00 per spray bottle. Be careful, it will strip the wax from your painted surfaces.

The dye on the door cards might be disappointing. As yours are black, you might wanna grab something else to test it on. Such a large flat area shows any imperfections in your spray bomb skillz, and it is hard to get it perfect.

Thanks to both of you. I will test the dye first on one of the rear trim panels - they are in pretty bad shape anyway.

Scrub with vinegar (yes, the clear smelly kind) if you are having adhesion issues.
