Rear Shelf recover

What I did with the shift boot was...grab some fabric, sew the edge almost closed, test fit on car, it fit, so I just placed the shift boot ring ON the fabric into it's place, then test the shift pattern to make sure there wasn't any tight spots. Cut the fabric with a straight razor and secured it to the shift ring thing with hot glue. You are all lucky if you had a shift boot to start with and use it to make a template, haha

Did this one last year. Had to stitch it around the corner of the ledge so it would stay but it has held up well.

Use your stock boot as a template.

+1 pull the stitching out of your stock one and lay it flat. It will turn out much better than if you try to make your own.

Ill post some pics of my rear shelf in my car. Ive recovered it 3 times, i hated the first two right after laying them down. So make sure you pick something you can deal with for a while.

That's easy but you gotta remove the backing of the rear seat and unscrew the seatbelts before you can get there though.

It's a Spy cloth, for the shades :P And the round thing isn't chew, it's my air freshener

I like the Plaid. Not on my car, but it looks good on that!
