Rear Shelf recover

What I did with the shift boot was...grab some fabric, sew the edge almost closed, test fit on car, it fit, so I just placed the shift boot ring ON the fabric into it's place, then test the shift pattern to make sure there wasn't any tight spots. Cut the fabric with a straight razor and secured it to the shift ring thing with hot glue. You are all lucky if you had a shift boot to start with and use it to make a template, hahaLeave a comment:

Did this one last year. Had to stitch it around the corner of the ledge so it would stay but it has held up well.

Ill post some pics of my rear shelf in my car. Ive recovered it 3 times, i hated the first two right after laying them down. So make sure you pick something you can deal with for a while.Leave a comment:

Here's what I did with some of the left-over fabric I had. Seeing how I never got a shift boot when I bought the car, this makes a HUGE improvement. Oh yeah, I like Stride gum if you couldn't tell.
