    best way to dye cloth seats?

    anyone with tips? i have grey recaro trophys and want to dye them black

        If you decide to dye them you can do it with fabric paint, All you need other than the paint is a course brush. You paint one layer, let it dry then brush it down to get it nice and smooth. Continue with that process till its all covered.

            what brand is good? plus i dont want it to bleed on my clothes

              Ive always use duplicolor fabric and vinyl for my carpets. The key is to let it throughly dry before use

                  RIT dye is another option-

                  for it to work though, you'll need to boil the fabric...which means that you will have to pull all the bolsters out(~3 hours of work if you havn't done it before)

                  and you'll need a HUGE pot.......i prefer RIT dye since spray/painting on layers will be hard to achieve an even amount of coat inbetween where the bolster meets the seat etc.

                  PS. this will dye the recaro signature to black as well
