People seem to be afraid of pop'ing that front "glass" (we all know it's plastic) cover off. It's really nothing to be afraid of - they aren't glued in like you think they are. It's more like they are lightly tacked into place with a few spots of very old, very dried out glue.
In 10 seconds with a small screwdriver it's off and in your hands. No loud noises of plastic separating or anything like that. Just a few clicks, and it's off. Just FYI.
My concern is not getting it off, but rather getting it back on. How do people put the plastic back on after they are done?
All I see on the site is a picture of the alpina strip and rings... no description though. All it says is "E30 m20b25". Is the item listed for both the strip and rings?
Just finished up the Alpina strip and painted the needles. It's amazing how this really changes the look of the cluster. I have a few more things to do like change all the bulbs and send the SI board out for refurb. Take a look.
