Is it possible to re-key a glove box latch? Mine got jammed, got it open, and got a new one at the junk yard. So is this possible or can i never lock it again?

Yes you can but you don't need to. All you have to do is remove the clip that holds in the cylinder and swap cylinders. Much easier then swapping out all the pins.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Haha that was simple enough. I just did it and it works great. Thanks einstien.
So you say I can re-key that other cylinder? Could I do in myself without going to a locksmith? I did a number on my original one when it was jammed and when try to put the key in it didnt go in all the way, but i just tinkered with it and now it works. I just want to be on the safe side, cause I'm afraid that one day the key won't go in while its locked.'87 Zinno 325e

When you take apart the cylinder, gently remove the pins one by one and right down each # in a row. Try and draw a diagram cause ther is a left an right side. Then remove any bent ones and replace them with donors from the new lock.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
