    help any one know where water would be coming from

    hi i have a problem with rain water leaking into my 89 e30. it is coming in from under the dash passenger side underneath the glove box on the left. any help would be appreciated.

    Clean the sunroof drains out. Two tubes in the front under the sunroof panel you will see them when you slide it back.

      Here's what your culprit looks like and it's in front of the passenger side, engine bay area next to the battery tray (better known as ELEPHANT TRUNK)

            Just buy a new one from blunt, remove the old one 'cause most of the times it'll crumble as you're trying to stick a flat screwdriver through it, while being cleaned.

                  Suggest cleaning sunroof holes as well, these back up and leak into the body as well.
