    How to remove e30 seat sliders

    How do you remove the sliders from the seat? ex, remove the bottom cushion from the rest.

        I remember from a couple years ago I need new sliders for my seats, it was held in place by a silver cylinder piece almost like a bullet that was in hole that connect the sliders to the actual seat. You pulled the cylinder out and the seats seperated. They look like number 8 on this diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...00&hg=52&fg=10

          It's pretty self explanatory once you look at them. The front has the clip/cylinder things e30e is talking about and the rear is a bolt on each side.

            I pulled the clips and bolts off mine and still couldn't get the sliders to separate. Might have just been too gentle though. Tips?
            I don't always wreck cars, but when I do I wreck them into trees.

              I got mine off, you do have to push them apart pretty hard.

                Mine came out pretty easy at what seams like the same point. Is there any rust? BFH?

                  Are the sliders the same from the sport seats to the comfort seats? Because my sport sliders are a bit rough, I will check into it, but if anyone happens to know..
