illuminated shift knob?

Hi. I found an article on how to make an illuminated shift knob, but this is for the chrome M3 knobs. I know there is another one floating out there for the stock e30 knobs. If anyone knows where this article is and can link me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

The one used in that write-up is a regular E30 shift knob. He purchased a seperate emblem and drilled the knob for wiring.
