How do you fix a broken sunroof crank?

My jackass friend yanked it off. Completely sheared the metal piece in half. What parts do I need to look for? The bentley manual has nothing on the crank.

    Thanks

not too hard to find one. At least one that works, unlike the one you have. Hope your sunroof was closed when that happened.

It was open, ended up clamping a power drill to the broken shaft to wind it closed... Worked like a charm! After looking at how to remove the broken piece of the crank it looks pretty easy to replace. Hopefully I can just screw the new one in.

the white piece with the two screws in it is what normally holds the crank. take out the two screws and replace the whole crank assembly. i got one from here for $15.
