    Automatic Shifter Panel

Hey guys so I tried to pop this out but didn't realize that aside form two clips on the side it is also held down by two screws. One was broke but I accidentally broke the other.

Does anyone know how this is properly supposed to be removed? I can glue the one I broke and re-screw it in but I don't know how it was supposed to come off int he first place.

Do I have to remove the entire center console piece to get to it?

Also, auto shift handle? I've read to put it in 2 (because its auto) and just pull straight up. There are no screws anywhere to be seen, only a button under the grip handle to change the gear.

    Thanks guys.

the screw is in the front, the side facing the hvac panel. i removed my gear select handle once, there is a white stick in there that comes off too.

    its hard re-installing than removing.

oh and the reason you put it in 2 is so you can have enough room to take it off.

Thanks Devon. Does the whole console have to come out to remove the shifter panel though? (piece that says P R D N 3 2 1) ?

no, there is a small plastic rectangular peice with bristles on it, that just pops out.
then the gear selector knob has a (i belive 3mm) allen hex bolt in the front towards the bottom of the knob, loosen it and pull it out the most you can, then pull up on the knob and it will come off.
then the large plastic piece is held in with 2 phillips screws.
if you need any of these pieces let me know, as i just did a 5spd swap and have them sitting in my room.
