    dashboard lower trim panel

the panel that covers the interior wiring in my car keeps becoming loose and falling down, whats really annoying is it gets in the way of the gas pedal and other pedals, How do I get the thing to stay in????

Are you sure you've got it installed all the way? A lot of people negllect to see that there's a forked bracket on the firewall that holds the back part of the bolster in place. Then all you need to do is make sure that you're got all the screws/clips in place up front, and there's no reason why it shouldn't stay in place.

It's not really 'forked'. He's refering to the tab that is at the base of the steering colum. There is a collar with a slot in it for the cover to slide into.
