    GIT SMELL OUT

what are sources of stank I should focus on?

I'm thinking febreeze headliner and seats (out of car to air out too). Then shampoo clean the carpet well. And clean or remove the trunk mat (for now).

anything else. it smells like shit.

Maybe look in the mirror? ;)

Febreze works pretty well. Hit the carpets, seats, headliner with it heavily AND let the car air out with the windows/sunroof open.

Ya, steam clean the carpet, ditch the trunk carpet, and get some good cleaner for the seats or somethin

Febreeze regularly and find a tree air freshener you like

          Eventually it'll smell good

Is it just me or does FeBreeze make your car smell like a damn laundromat?

In all seriousness, take all of the seats out and steam-clean the hell out of the carpet. Do it a few times and make sure you suck all of the water out really well with the cleaner.

If there's any water under the carpet, you'll need to pull it and dry the foam.

Oh man, let me tell you, that was fun. Sitting in my driveway with the driver's side of my carpet propped up, holding a hair dryer for about an hour until it was all dried out. I had to rip most of the foam off of the underside of the carpet, but it's all gravy since I'm getting a new carpet.

At least now my car smells normal. Yesterday, I applied protectant to the dash and all the consoles, and conditioned the leather. The inside of my car smells soooooo good. :D

one product to cure your stanky ass problems: OZIUM. This is the SHIT. I smoke hardcore in my car, and if i dont spray it, yea it smells. Once a week with this stuff and it wipes away any odor, and odor causing bacteria. You basically seal your car up, open the door, hold the sprayer down for like 3 or 4 seconds, and then shut the car up. come back like 20 min later, no smell. im pretty sure its sold everywhere, but im a big fan of the original scent.

                    Ozium. awesome shit.

Griot's Garage Interior Car Scent is great at getting out car odors. Gives your interior the new car smell. Once a week and I am good to go.

That works good, but does not take the smoke smell out. You probably don;t notice it as much because you are a smoker.

I once had a car that had been owned by a smoker - the only way to get the smell out was to shampoo all of the upholstery, the headliner and the carpets - twice. Then we let it air out for few days. Try sucking the crud out of your headliner and carpet and think about that being in your lungs - YUCK!!!!!!
