I just bought a set of E21 Recaros - Once upon a time ago I was going to drop off my E30 sport seats, now I'm thinking the Recaros would be a better "investment" - Can you please tell me how much would it cost to redo these?

You have a few things working against you with those - They are gen 2 lx's which are a pita to assemble compared to the later gens and also there is visible foam damage. I would guess around 800.

Just finished these today. Gen 4 LS-C's wrapped in black synthetic with a black recaro logo and red diamonds. We also added heated inserts

I cant get actual samples of the stuff without ordering a yard. If two or three people want to put 7 dollars or so down on a yard i will cover the balance and send out samples to everyone.

The stuff i can get is from an oem replica catalog. It is called cardinal and listed under the bmw section. Its as close to oem as you will find. It is available in leather and vinyl.

The yard i would be ordering would be vinyl but it would be good enough for you to compare against the original since the leather would look the same.

So in theory, you can get any BMW interior color? What about Chestnut Brown? It's known as Red Brown everywhere else in the world, BMW NA apparently didn't think that was good enough.

Wow I wish you were closer to NJ - Maybe you can quote me a price regardless. I have a Recaro SRD with just a small rip on the drivers bolster and the bottom bolster is a little squashed.

They have all the colors from like 1970-1993.

The chestnut brown looks alot like audis tuscan brown and the brown i just did this interior in. Keep in mind the flash made them look alot more orange then they actually are.
