Wow I wish you were closer to NJ - Maybe you can quote me a price regardless. I have a Recaro SRD with just a small rip on the drivers bolster and the bottom bolster is a little squashed.

We just ordered new lower srd foam and will be offering a pre order for it soon, as far as the covers go were you looking to fix the damaged areas or recover them? The oem material on those seats is nla so fixing the damage wouldnt really be possible, you would be better off trying to track down good used covers (which we have just not in that material)

Isn't kevin on the east coast? I'm right down in Portland so I figured it would be easy to come to you. I may be handy enough to install kevin's kits myself, but might want it done by a professional i.e. you guys. maybe it would be a good idea to bring my seats to you along with the patterns? seats also need minor mechanical work

I wouldn't be against recovering just would try to match my stock passenger seat somewhat. Thats why I love this seat it matches pretty good to my stock seat..

Only that one part is messed up the rest is perfect.. How much roughtly would something like this cost to recover?

I just bought a pair of used LS-B's, the tops are pretty decent but the bottom of the seats need some help. I see you have the diaphragms and bolster foam, is it possible to have the bolster covers made in the original (I think mine are the Avus) materials? The bottom insert foam is pretty good, but the covers are crap-how much are the covers? Eventually I'd like to have them completely redone, but money is a factor, especially from now until the first of the year. What generation seat would these be?

Yes, they used twine to fix the bottom of one seat...

My E28 M5 drivers seats has a broken bolster. No rips in the leather, and I think the foam is pretty good, but the bottom bolster is flat. The passenger seat is nice and tight still. I've heard that the metal frame welds can break???

Anyways, I was wondering if you could do something like this to my interior if I sent it to you?

Yes the frame can break and yes we could do that

I wanted to let you guys know that as far as front seats go we will mainly just be recovering recaro from now on, getting too busy to get a new style seat every week. If you are looking to new covers for your stock e30 and sport seats i would recommend Kevin.

From what I read in other posts Kevin is 6-7 weeks back logged don't you think you could split up North America between each other?

We are actually nearly 4 months out right now.. You just have to realize that there is a reason that companies like kevins and ours get booked out like this. Quality/Price and there is no replacement for experience with certain seats.

We will still be doing rear seats, door panels, dash's and so on but as far as front seats we figure if we can eliminate one big part to patterns we already have that are perfect we can start saving alot of time.

Quality upholstery work just takes a long time to do right. A full interior recover can easily take up a solid month of work, i dont think many people realize how much time can actually go into some of this stuff. In many cases if we run into problems we pretty much end up making min wage on a job.
