    Central locking mount

I noticed that my central locking module is just loose in the space behind the speaker in the drivers front kick panel. Is it supposed to be mounted to something? If it is I dont know why it isnt. Maybe another stereo installer special here. This is an 86 325es by the way. Thanks in advance.
