    airbags and steering wheel replacement

I found a good deal on an aftermarket steering wheel but my current one has an airbag on it. 1990 325i for those who don't know. Will there be any complications as far as removing the steering wheel and maybe a service light about the airbag being taken out?
    I go wuaaaaaahh pssssshhhhh!!!!

I've heard of people having a blinking SRS light, but nothing happened when I removed my airbag wheel.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

You can Eliminate the blinking by unplugging all 3 of the orange SRS plugs under the cluster.

what i did and have never seen an airbag error light ;)

Also, when i used the momo hub adapter, I need to add a couple washers as the hub will slide up and down on the spline with the nut all the way down tight (not as thick as the air bag wheel base).
