Dont sell synthetics short. Lots of companies (nissan for one) are moving to synthetic over leather for their premium cars. Keep in mind "synthetic" is not just vinyl like you would find at joannes. Good synthetic can outlast leather.

I say go cardinal! The seats in my E28 were re-done in cardinal and they look absolutely amazing.

I was doing some research and came across this old thread.These are one of the nicest sets of redone Cardinal seats I have seen ,the workmanship and fitting are very nice ,piping is very straight and one of the better colors closer to the original and not pinky.Also they are vinyl that looks like leather,Makes me rethink if I really want to find an old replacement for my car this could be an option ..
