Seat bent

I have the same problem with my drivers seat, good to know it can be fixed. Im reupholstering my seats so its the perfect time to do this!

FYI, if one seat shock goes out and the other doesn't, it can cause the backrest to be crooked. I replaced mine when I reupholstered. The cheapest place I found them was on ebay for $70 a pair IIRC. There are 4 per seat. The uppers are different than the lowers.
