just curious but why not use cell material and cover with carpet - less weight adn gives a similar smooth look. Info is here:

Finished making and wrapping the panels today, I ended up using 1/4" masonite and standard subwoofer carpet, using 3M spray adhesive. They came out really good, I might refine and make them again another time, but I was kind of on a time crunch with these. Hoping to get the car back from exhaust work mid-day tomorrow and get them fitted!

I had the exact same idea. I have no reason for a rear seat, even though they're not insanely heavy. I prefer to have a shelf or a flat surface to place shit on.
I think I might try and make a mat to put down on top of mine. Kinda like a removable trunk carpet. But different.
And am making my life with you guy too. ;)Originally posted by StewStewIloveyouyouhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah f--- this community its like am making my life with you guysComment

I like the work Joshzilla. Just seems silly not to throw a regular black vinyl rear seat in there for now or something. Didn't know rear seats were so hard to come by, I've thrown a few away.Comment

Interested to see how it looks in the car. I've thought about this too as a solution to mismatched seats but I've been scared it would look too fuh raze.
