    Cluster issues

So I just picked up my first e30 about a week ago, 1988 325i Cab 5 speed stick. LOVE the car. I've been searching for one as a weekend driver/project car for a while now, and I picked one up in running condition for a great price. For a period of time this car was cared for and it's obvious with its redone seats and such.

One issue is that the cluster was replaced with a 325e cluster so my M20 apparently redlines at 5k now.....

Gas guage tilts to the left, and the engine temp works, but its a little jumpy (might be the sensor from the engine).

My question is, what's the best approach to fix this? Buy a whole new cluster off somebody else? Change the tachometer to a 325i one? Thanks for the input

go to a yard over in sun valley and buy a later model 325i/is cluster.
