    momo wheel hub/whee problem

hey so i got my friends momo wheel/hub off of his early model vert, but when we went to put it on my late model it didn't want to go on.

we couldn't get the steering to lock with the wheel on, also horn now wont work(both of which were not problems on friends vert).

does it matter that my car is a late model?
does it matter that my car came factory with an airbag?

    any help would be awesome.

...and no i wont sell it to you! :)

if it had a slip ring like oem wheels than you can take that out and it will fit but you will lose the horn, and return signal. that's how i did it with a mtech 1 wheel on airbag model.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

I think you need a spacer to install an aftermarket wheel into an airbag car.
You can get it from the dealership.
At least that's how I installed mine.

I had an mtech1 wheel and that needed a spacer. Weird thing is if I push the wheel in, with some force, it locks.

Also it wot cancel turn signals and I have to press in on wheel to unlock it or get horn working

hmmm my 87 has no airbag so it just bolted right up and i used a paper clip to ground the horn
once u bolt the 22mm (i think) bolt down and put in your 6 little screws i went driving mine
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.

You need a spacer. You can get one made to go there. I'm not sure of the part number though. RealOEM is your friend.

got it to work, had to un-do the bolt, and give it some wiggle room, push it in, i mean actually push hard on it, then as holding it in re-tighten bolt.
horn and turn signal cancle fine along with wheel lock. yay
