Corbeau A4 submarine slot or no?

I'm looking to replace my torn and tattered seats with some black leather corbeau A4s. I have the option to pay a bit more and add a submarine slot for a 5 point harness. What are your thoughts on this?

Right now the car is my daily driver but at some point I may like to take it to the track. I don't know how much is involved in that and I don't really plan on getting a role cage or anything any time soon. I thought maybe just a harness so driving on windy roads so I'm not flying out of my seat.

Should I get the added slot to be future proof? Or does it sound like something I will never need?

Unless you're going to put in a roll cage, you have no use for a harness or the submarine slot.

Improperly installed harnesses (as in not to a cage) are NOT SAFE.

I have the Corbeau A4s in my iX. Those seats with the stock seatbelt hold you in well enough for probably anything on the street. The A4 has fairly decent side bolsters without being uncomfortable, but the regular width version may be a tight fit unless you're bit on the skinny side.

These seats are quite comfortable, but you'll probably want to space it up from the seat bracket so you're not sitting on the floor. I'm 6 ft tall, and I ended up spacing it up 1"-2" roughly.
