IIRC, it's not held in with anything. So grap it and pull it out?!?!?!

EDIT. Or well there maybe some clips on the front that hold the panel on that covers the back seat area.

I "think" you might need to pull the tail light bulb holder off, but from there you just yank and force it out. It is jammed in there pretty well.

        dude...

the boot side carpet, doesnt cover the back seat area

it is the side of the boot and it is a section of carpet
(left side to be exact cos my car is RHD)

i know it is held in by clips but just dont know where they are

The panel you are talking about goes all the way to the front of the trunk (#1) where that clip and panel is that i'm talking about (#7). You will have to take that clip (#11/12) out to remove your (#1) panel cause i'm pretty sure that #1 panel goes behind #7. But just look at it. Your panel maybe sitting infront of that other panel. Cause i think it can go in either way.

Also what def affe said too.

It's been awahile since i had to remove one. But it isnt brain surgery!

I'm not trying to be cocky about it. It's just one of those things where you look at it and study it and be like Ahhh HA!
