cluster issues

on my 88 325i the rpm gauge fuse is always blowing and the light that covers it doesnt work either...even after i replaced the bulbs in the cluster...any ideas whats wrong? thanks.

check for a bad cold solder joint on the circuit board. did you change the SI board batteries?? you may want to check those as well.
