glove box latch

guys, a friend of mine has totaly broken off her glove box latch. how can i get it open to put on a new 1 w/o busting it up??

Unbolt the 3 nuts that hold it up in the rear near the firewall. Then you can either undo the two screws that hold the latch together or you can try wiggling the glovebox to see if it will pop loose.
