Map light mirror in a vert.??

The mirror in the 92" Vert' I just goy is attached to the windshield, where as the Map light one in my 325is' is attached to the windshield frame :?
Can I still use the map light in the Vert.??

Well after some investagation, I have found out that, Map light in a cabby is far from a "bolt on". Its gonna require adding a metal plate (via welding) and then some dremaling to create the rectangle hole :|
