    Door messed up

I am trying to get my door fixed tonight because i have to drive it tomorrow...

so today randomly the door wont close! it wont shut all the way and click so I had to hold it closed all the way home from work. Any help please?! When i pull the hande it moves nothing but I don't know how i'd fix this.

and also I have the door panel off and I can also see that my interior lock wire is bent badly. thats why it was so hard to lock and unlock my car. How do I get that out?

Any help as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated

The latch is pretty simple overall. Just get in there and fiddle around.

one thing that I have seen happen is the part that actually latches to the catch can inadvertently get flipped up and may not go back down into place with just a pull of the handle. If its in the right position it should be down so that it will slide into the catch in the jamb.

Thanks, well itis down. I wated to take the latch out but haven't figured out how. Im guessing just undo the 4 screws holding it in and then fiddle it out. I just dont understand that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt

latch should be pretty easy, the hardest part will likely be getting the other rods and crap out of the way and disconnected so you can get it out. It just has 3 screws in the jamb area.

I had almost the exact same problem. Last winter my driver side passenger door wouldn't fully shut on some days and then other days it would work perfectly. Weirdly enough the problem eventually just stopped so I never actually got around to fixing it but by the advice given by other guys it sounds like it should be an easy fix. Good luck!
