berber floor mats

I have a set of Berber type mats, different brand, not sure what, but I like them. The driver side needs replacing and I've been eyeing that Bav set for a long time. I say do it.

Are thsoe really more than the actual factory mats? Im looking to get a new pair but I like the reinforced heelpad that mine have, hopefully BMW is still making them that way.

Some of the Bav mats have reinforced heel area, but with carpet, not a pad. Not sure if that applies to the berber ones though.

the bav auto plush mat are made of 25oz yarn and 50oz in the heel area

those are only a little more or about the same as the dealer.... they are cheaper than the dealer if you get them without the lettering

i really want to know how well they fit..... i can't imagine bav auto making crappy floor mats but you never know

Not sure how the Bav ones fit, but according to them, they are cut to fit each model, so I am sure they fit very well. The ones I have, like I said before, were with the car when I bought it, so I don't know where they came from. They are not exactly like Bav's, but similar in material. Mine in truth are more like coco/sisal mats, but have the ribs like berber. Either way, the textured mats give more visual interest than standard carpeted mats, even the high dollar thick ones.

Order them from the stealer. Its where I got mine. They arent that expensive, and they have the larger pad under the heel, along with factory fitment and BMW text on the drivers floor mat only.

My dad ordered some BavAuto mats for his E36 318ti, and they didn't fit at all.

He has since ordered Cocomats, and they all fit nicely. I wonder who started that trend around our house. ;)

You don't order them individually, they come as a complete set... Fronts & Rear.

Can't comment on retail pricing, I have no idea. Sorry.
